Wheelchair access
St James Theatre
For ticketed events at St James Theatre, if you have special seating requirements such as wheelchair access, please contact the Wellington Jazz Festival's ticketing line 021 528 481 or email access@festival.nz. Access tickets are $20. If you require assistance to attend, you can book an essential companion ticket for free. Companion tickets are limited and subject to availability.

San Fran
San Fran has limited accessibility due to its second-floor location. Please reach out to us if you have accessibility queries: 021 528 481 or email access@festival.nz. Access tickets are $15. If you require assistance to attend, you can book an essential companion ticket for free. Companion tickets are limited and subject to availability.

Bumpy’s performance is general admission standing, with limited seating available for customers who need it. If you require a seat please advise us by email ticketing@festival.co.nz so we can ensure one is reserved for you.
Meow Nui
The ground floor at Meow Nui is fully accessible and there are accessible bathrooms available on this level. There is also a designated section for wheelchairs near the bar. The upstairs, Platinum Lounge is only accessible via stairs and features a mixture of seats, stools and standing. If you have any questions or enquiries about access at Meow Nui please contact kiaora@meownui.com.

Physical access
Some venues in the City Line-up have limited wheelchair accessibility. These events are not managed by the Festival, please contact the venue directly to confirm.
Deaf / Hard of hearing support
For customers with older model hearing aids, The St James Theatre has 40 devices that connect to hearing aids with coverage to all seats. Please ask Venues staff on arrival if you require one. Those with newer model hearing aids can connect to the Auracast app on their phones, search for the venue and connect that way.
