The Windy City 6
Playing the late set at Havana Bar are Wellington’s own Windy City 6, a group dedicated to playing the swinging, bebopping, and blues-ful music that came to be known as “Mainstream Jazz”. Come on over to Wigan Street for a cocktail, a bite to eat, and a great time.
Featuring the happy horns of Sylvester Green (trumpet) Alex “Juice” Vujanic on (tenor sax) and Ferdinand Hitchings-Anstice on (trombone), and the get-ya-movin’ rhythm section of Liam Reburn (guitar) Jacob Hurst (bass) and Oscar Garvie (drums).
