Stable Mates Sextet
Auckland based jazz ensemble Stable Mates Sextet performs a selection of original compositions inspired by an array of influences, ranging from Wayne Shorter and Pharoah Sanders to Michael Brecker and Chris Potter.
Having previously performed together fronted by different bandleaders, the Stable Mates Sextet now unites as a group to present new pieces and fresh takes on classics.
Featuring Charlotte Barrand on alto saxophone, Felix Hayes-Tourelle on tenor saxophone, Robin Baek on guitar, Connor McAneny on piano, Wil Goodinson on bass and a special guest on drums.
