Great jazz, tasty food and thirst-quenching brews
Since 2014, Rio Trio have been bringing the vibrant sounds of Brazil to Wellington audiences. For this special Festival performance, they’re joined by Brazilian pianist Juliana Sian, a New Zealand–based artist with over 20 years’ experience and a deep love for Brazilian music. Together, they weave a rich tapestry of bossa nova, samba, and choro, alongside authentic originals penned by saxophonist Bryn van Vliet.
Featuring Bryn van Vliet on flute/saxophone, Felicien Houet on guitar, Taciano Milfont on percussion and Juliana Sian on piano.
