Kaletta

Kaletta is a Wellington-based gypsy ska punk band built from Latin-American, NZ and European musicians. We sing in Spanish and fuse trumpet, violin, keys, guitars and Latin percussion over a gypsy ska rhythm that’s the heartbeat of everything we do. Think Mano Negra meets Gogol Bordello, with the punk energy of Wellington’s streets and with a touch of the Ska-P.

Our sound is explosive, danceable and impossible to ignore. We blend original songs with wild covers, all reworked into our signature high-energy vibe. Every show is loud, fun, interactive and made for one thing: getting the whole crowd moving with happiness. We don’t play at people, we play with them.
