Join us as we explore some iconic tunes from Broadway and beyond. This new and exciting band features Alex's regular collaborators along with special guest Tim Geldens from Sydney.

Expect burning swing, heartbreaking ballads, and mysterious show tunes. Tunes from Kern, Parker, Loewe, Rodgers, Hammerstein, and more! Come along for a swinging evening of good times, head to the bar for a delectable cocktail, or to the convenient bookshelves for some improving literature.

Alex Trask is a local saxophonist who plays with the Aotearoa Jazz Orchestra and the RNZAF band as well as leading many groups around the city. He played lead alto for the Rodger Fox Big Band from 2024-25 and has performed all over the country with various bands. Over the last 2 years Alex has released numerous homegrown CDs which will be available at this gig.
