A stellar trio of musicians brings the original, groove-driven music of pianist and composer Daniel Hayles to St Michael’s Church in a vibrant celebration of contemporary jazz. Through infectious rhythms, lyrical melodies and fearless improvisation, Hayles' compositions draw on a rich palette of modern influences while forging a distinctive musical voice.  

Joining the trio is acclaimed guest vocalist Lauren Nottingham, whose expressive artistry adds depth and warmth to a programme that showcases songs by visionary artists including Esperanza Spalding, Cécile McLorin Salvant and Jonathan Crayford.
