Join us as we explore some iconic tunes from Broadway and beyond. This new and exciting band features Alex's regular collaborators along with special guest Tim Geldens from Sydney. Expect burning swing, heartbreaking ballads, and mysterious show tunes. Tunes from Kern, Parker, Loewe, Rodgers and Hammerstein, and more.

Alex Trask is a versatile and exciting alto saxophonist known for leading many groups around Wellington. He played lead alto for the Rodger Fox Big Band from 2024-25 and is a member of the Royal New Zealand Air Force Band.
His debut live album Pool of Tears was released in 2023 and has featured on RNZ Concert and other prominent radio stations. This year Alex has released numerous homegrown CDs which will be available at this gig.
