Frida, formed by Tristan Carter and John Rae, is an ensemble that explores the various traditional music of the violin. From Celtic glens to Scandinavian fjords with a special guest from Dundee, Scotland, Kevin Murray, alongside Aoteaora jazz legends Ben Wilcock on piano and Patrick Bleakley on bass. Frida makes use of traditional music whilst adding a jazz twist in a foot-tapping extravaganza.
