Faleatua/Palencia Quartet
Acclaimed Samoan jazz pianist Andrew Faleatua and Malaysian-born songstress Mia Palencia join forces for a special new collaboration, bringing their shared love of contemporary jazz, Robert Glasper and music that celebrates cultural heritage in this Festival Warm-Up performance.
Having met as colleagues at Te Kōkī New Zealand School of Music, the pair discovered a natural musical connection and are now bringing their quartet together for the first time.
