The Wynton Newman Quintet

Local jazz bassist and composer Wynton Newman will present a number of his funk/jazz/soul/Latin inspired compositions as well as theme music from his favorite childhood cartoon, Spongebob Squarepants, and background music from beloved video games such as Freddi Fish and Commander Keen.

His quintet features a selection of Wellington's finest musicians including Bryn Van Vliet (saxophone), Kaito Walley (trombone), Abe Baillie (drums) and Ayrton Foote (piano).
