From Tāmaki Makaurau to Pōneke, the talented team from Wāhine in Jazz are heading to Wellington to collaborate with Pōneke's Listening Collective, for an intimate evening celebrating some of the finest wāhine that bless the Auckland and Wellington scenes. In a cosy, laid-back setting, get ready for brand new compositions, arrangements and collaborations between musicians across the cities.
Wāhine in Jazz is a Tāmaki Makaurau based organisation that advocates for and promotes the development of female and non-binary jazz musicians in Aotearoa.
The Listening Collective is a Pōneke-based space for women and gender minority musicians to foster connection and creativity built on trust, shared experience, understanding and empathy.
