The Troubles: Més que un band
The Troubles are indeed very much “Més que un band”. They are in fact, a New Zealand/Aotearoa institution!
Formed in 2009, The Troubles have performed at every Wellington Jazz Festival since. To mark the closure of the 2023 Wellington Jazz Festival, the group present a very special concert featuring many of the past/present and future musicians who have played with the group throughout its long and illustrious history. The uniqueness of The Troubles is in part due to their eclectic sound. A sound that reflects the instrumentation of string quartet, horns, bass and drums and over the last 14 years and its musical personnel.
The Troubles have taken their musical sound throughout the world to rave reviews and are the perfect way to close not only the 2023 Wellington Jazz Festival, but any festival!
