The Seth Boy Trio
The trio led by Wellington bassist, composer, and band-leader Seth Boy will feature original compositions and arrangements performed by a tight ensemble of alto saxophone, drums, and bass violin, making use of the range of intricacy and intimacy of three like-minded musicians. Seth Boy and his nine-piece band were featured in last year's Festival as one of their commissioned composers. He is excited to bring the same energy and passion to a small ensemble.
