Whistling Sisters will be hosting some exciting beer and toe tapping sounds this Wellington Jazz Festival and the price of your ticket will go towards your first beer or bite while you watch the fantastic lineup.
Lockie and Travers are a jazz guitar duo based in Pōneke playing standards and the occasional original when it fits the bill.
Heavily influenced by the older jazz sound, they take inspiration from all kinds of instrumentalists. With a big focus on interplay and exploration, Lockie and Travers use standards as a platform for collaboration and connection.

Whistling Sisters was founded to remember Karen, whom was lost to breast cancer in 2015, and to continue her legacy 20 cents of every can sold goes to The Karen Louisa Foundation, created to fund research and treatments for advanced breast cancer.
