The Dave Wilson Quintet

Dave Wilson presents his quintet in a set of his original music that meditates on the brief nature of human relationships with one another and with the world around us. The performance will feature Dave on tenor saxophone and bass clarinet alongside some of the leading musicians of Te Whanganui-a-Tara, drawing inspiration from their wide range of musical experiences in contemporary jazz, bebop, the blues, modal jazz, indie rock, metal, maqam traditions of the Middle East, and more.

Featuring Callum Allardice (guitar), Chris Beernink (bass), Ben Hunt (trumpet), Hikurangi Schaverien-Kaa (drums) and Dave Wilson (tenor saxophone and bass clarinet).
