Colours of Jazz

Jazz has long held a fascination for visual artists and vice-versa. This group show curated by Ian Logan, himself a musician in this year’s Festival will encompass styles as varied as jazz itself, from the realistic to abstract improvisations akin to free jazz. Alongside contemporary practitioners will be a selection of ‘classic’ Aotearoa abstractions from artists like Els Noordhof and Juliet Peter.
