Brazilian samba, bossa nova and latin rhythms

"Chicama"- a natural occurring phenomena, like this trio celebrating the music of Joblim and Michelle Legrand.

Playing the delicate, joyous, passionate and romantic Brazilian samba, bossa nova and Latin rhythms of these masters, the duo’s textures and improvisation take audiences to a whole new world of Latin jazz. Geoff, influenced by friends Claudio Rodditi and Arturo Sandoval, fell in love with this music long ago whilst playing a soloist feature track "Spanish Gypsy" (found on Rodger Fox’s 1980 album The New York Tapes). Guitarist Robert Kingi is famous in New Zealand’s jazz scene.
