Salvant, regularly and rightly, is considered one of the greatest jazz singers of her generation - Rolling Stone

Three-time GRAMMY Award-winning vocalist and composer Cécile McLorin Salvant returns to Wellington for the first time since her sold-out show at the 2018 New Zealand Festival.

Headlining the Wellington Jazz Festival with her quartet, Salvant is bringing her distinctive voice, “perfect intonation, elastic rhythm and an operatic range” (The New Yorker) and will be presenting repertoire from her critically acclaimed album Ghost Song and latest release Mélusine.

With a magnetic stage presence showcasing her rich, and endlessly nuanced, velvet tones, Salvant will create an unforgettable night for audiences at the Michael Fowler Centre.

Sure to be a festival highlight, secure your front row seat and be there to experience the magic of “Jazz ‘genius’” (The Guardian) Cécile McLorin Salvant in this one-night-only performance.
