Black Spider Trio

Black Spider Trio is a gypsy jazz ensemble born in the heart of Wellington. The talents of these three virtuoso musicians combine to create a highly polished repertoire featuring blazingly swift swing, deep sultry ballads, old-world waltzes and foot-stomping shuffles. Re-imagined and rearranged songs from Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli, Matelot Ferret, Wasso Grünholz and Joseph Reinhardt, along with original material, make them one of the most exciting gypsy jazz entities to come out of New Zealand.
